Description

This mutation and how it is showcased is breed specific and may not be realistic in any way.
Mutations are designed and sorted out by Ravica and should not be copied.

Name: Pastello
Rarity: Uncommon
Genotype: Pst

Rules:
- always show pastel colors. Color examples: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/7…
- always covers white markings, but does not affect base coat.
- does not cover Dominant White, but may show on "hidden" paint genes on white body.
- does not affect the eye color.
- will show on white patterns crossing into mane and tail.

NO colors outside the pastel range.
NO covering the entire body without extreme paint genes to explain it.

Inheritance:
These are the guidelines for how this gene may pass on to offsprings based on parent genotypes.
Notice that this is not exact science and chance is part of breeding for color.
PstPst and nPst means the horse showcase the gene. nn means the gene is not present.

PstPst x PstPst = 100% PstPst / 0% nPst / 0% nn
PstPst x nPst = 95% PstPst / 5% nPst / 0% nn
PstPst x nn = 5% PstPst / 95% nPst / 0% nn

nPst x nPst = 5% PstPst / 95% nPst / 0% nn
nPst x nn = 0% PstPst / 5% nPst / 95% nn

If a horse that is all white from markings other than Dom white (example, extreme sabino, or tovero) that is a pastello.. would it be all pastel colors, or could those colors fade to white? Also, how many colors can a pastello display?
