Tack Information

It is naturally common to use modern english or western tack on Wards today, especially when being competed. Same goes for driving, if done as a sport and not just a hobby.
Some prefer to use more breed specific tack however, which mostly result in the use of more color, pattern and texture, since the Fae love anything flashy.

Tack Origins
It wasn't just horses that the Fae imported to their land over the decades with open borders. It was pretty much anything and everything that caught their fancy, including clothes and horse tack etc. This has resulted in a massive and rather colorful colection of tack made centurities apart, from different continents and used on different horse breeds. And as they do not discrimate due to origin of an item, the Fae are known to mix and match items as they please, rebuild it to fit their needs as well as putting their own personal touch on everything. Only common idea is that the tack must not harm the animal, which means a lot of old tack has been recreated in new materials and it is also common to use bridles with no bits.

How to use this info
Basically this means you can use any tack you want to, any design, any accesories etc. You have free game and be inspired by any country, time period and riding discipline to create whatever suits your needs. Tack created in our world is naturally deemed "normal" and adds no bonus to the horse wearing it, besides being pretty and comfortable.

Fae made tack
On some rare occassions Fae made tack will be smuggled into our world and sold in various places.

Inspiration
The Fae also brought home a ton of images and painted copies of famous paintings, which showcase different tack styles they liked.
